It doesnt feel like Im feeding them into the wall then, it feels like Im putting them to rest so I can transfer them to their prime form. Me, I tend not to subsume them until I have a prime version, or Umbra in Excalibur's case. I guess I'm just wondering if I'm a complete outlier for feeling this way? Is anyone else out there? And I know that some of you are going to find this post pretty ridiculous.

I know that the helminth update will never be rolled back, and if I keep playing I just need to resign myself to never being able to create builds in the new meta. Which I know isn't really fair, and I don't mean it as an accusation, since objectively it's just another gameplay element involving fictional meatsuits. It makes me unhappy to think about how so many players have no second thoughts about the system. I've felt this way since the content was added, and actually stopped playing the game for about six months, until I missed the old gameplay elements too much. I won't feed them to a wall just so I can play at 1% additional power. Based on the somewhat inconsistent lore from the quests, I think it's fair to say that at least some warframes are capable of feelings, and I like to think that my warframes are fond of my operator.
