Similar for the dye manufacturer, the school and the tavern. F/e, the stone mason only needs tiles on the highest structure to blend in, the marble mason could either get a tiled roof as well or just put some tiles on that lil shed. It would be great if these buildings would upgrade to fit the age the player is in better, and these could just be realy minor updates, most noticably to the roofs of buildings. there were other buildings as well (f/e the goods buildings) that lacked any visual synergy with the Iron age. Some minor things that i missed was a 'college' or 'high-school' building that suited the style of houses in the Iron age (to replace my school) and same thing for a 'bar' or 'restaurant' or w/e to replace my tavern. The result of all this was that i have lost time waiting for supply, and possibly more important multiple days of forge points.Ģ. So while a better trade may also solve some of need for supply spend on goods, which in turn means that less space has to be spend on goods buildings, which in turn gives more room for production buildings, it may still be a good idea to check if the progression in costs for buildings and upgrades (roads) during this iron age isn't to much. Especially if you take into considderation that due to lack of trade i had to spend supply on keeping goods running and that i lost some units in fights. I did notice that a lot of things are mighty expensive to build, perhaps even a tad to expensive. And i did make a sleepy mistake buying to many butcheries to fast. In part this was due to the somewhat borked trade (only 1 other person on my server is trading), so besides the guild trade you may want to considder adding a 'global' trade feature instead, making sure that trade is always available to everybody, which will surely increase the speed of progress.Īnother steep experience was the need for supply, now maybe i did not manage my production well enough, and i am re-evaluating my buildings as i progress into the Early middle age.

This then also caused something else, the progression during this age was realy steep. The Iron age discovery tree felt 'to short', and if i look at the width of the Iron age it's also less wide as the other ages. I am about to exit the Iron age and in this thread i wanted to post my experiences:ġ. *!* Title is wrong, most of this is about the iron age, though some bronze age feedback in included as well
